Shanghai Howard Johnson Hotel Management Co., Ltd. announces the promotion of one operational executive. James Kim, has been promoted to Vice President of Operations - Greater China and will have enhanced leadership responsibilities within the operations team of Shanghai Howard Johnson Hotel Management Co., Ltd.

Mr. Kim, a Korean national who speaks fluent English, German, Japanese and Chinese, has a solid 20-year background in the hospitality industry. Mr. Kim was most recently general manager of Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale hotels in Shanghai and Changsha. Previously, he held various senior positions for Sheraton, Hilton and Marriott hotels in Asia, Europe and the United States.

Kim joins an experienced management team at Howard Johnson and will play a key role in the company’s rapid expansion in mainland China.
